Andrew Benson spoke in Brighton at the Governance, Risk and Compliance Congress on 9 June 2011 as regards his views on the implementation of the Bribery Act due to come in to force on 1 July 2011. Andrew expressed reservations as regards the resources being devoted to the enforcement of this legislation and questioned the true motivation behind the widespread publicity from the Serious Fraud Office concerning ‘self reporting’ from corporate entities.
