Lu is a commercial litigator with a focus on international commercial disputes. She has previous experience in high value litigation/arbitration and financial services regulatory work. Lu speaks Mandarin and Spanish.

Notable experience

• $500 million London ICC arbitration between an Indian technology firm and a Norwegian manufacturer in relation to a supply agreement
• FSA investigation into alleged fraud and offences under sections 177(3) and 177(4) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000
• Aircraft repossession and winding up proceedings in the High Court against a Slovakian airline

Background

Lu graduated from Liverpool University with a first class law degree before attending law school at BPP. She completed her training contract with Norton Rose, where she spent eight months in the arbitration and financial litigation departments. Lu joined Byrne and Partners on qualification in 2011.
