Kim Green is a criminal litigation lawyer working on a range of white collar crime matters but with a particular emphasis on defending criminal fraud prosecutions, typically brought by HM Revenue and Customs, the Serious Fraud Office or the Crown Prosecution Service.

Notable experience

• Acting for a defendant in the largest Missing Trader Intra Community VAT fraud prosecuted (Operation Euripus)
• Acting in a £25m VAT prosecution brought by HM Revenue and Customs
• Pre charge advice to clients facing investigation by a range of prosecuting authorities

Background

Kim graduated from Leeds University in 2005 and completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and LPC at Nottingham Law School. Kim joined Byrne and Partners LLP in 2009 after training and qualifying at Shoosmiths. She is a member of the Young Fraud Lawyers Association and the Fraud Training Group.
